The Creamery, funded by a grant from the UNIDEL foundation and private donations, is intended to communicate to our students about the principles of dairy production, food science and safety, environmentally sound agriculture, business management and finance, and – perhaps most important – how we can sustain agriculture in the face of land use change by incorporating all of these principles into a modern dairy farm.

Really good quality ice cream with some regular and many unique flavors. Cookies and cream is the best I've ever had. 1923 flavor is very tasty. Staff is friendly and professional.

Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! This is at the top of the list of places to try when anyone visits us in Delaware. Flavors are always delicious and there is a wide range of options.

So many creative favors with a friendly staff! They even have two no-sugar added flavors. Nice to see something local like this helping students learn, while bringing joy to people of all ages.

Currently attending a special event hosted by Christian Wills. Great talent at a great event! Glad to see UDairy Creamery hosting such a cool event on a rather cold night! And the ice cream was great as always! Thanks again to UDairy Creamery and Christian Wills for putting together such a great and positive event.

High quality ice cream. Very strong flavors and creamy texture. Delaware River Mud Pie is one of the best. Fig Goat About It is really good and unique. The smartest thing to do is to just buy a big tub of it and take it home, you know you want to. Ask about dry ice if you have a long drive to take some home.

Amazing place!!!! The flavors are so rich and complex, but it tastes sooo good and creamy. They are quite unique. The staff are nice, and we always take home a pint. Once, I had a swim meet at the UD pool and we came after to get ice cream. YUM!!

Locally Produced, Farm Fresh, Non-Profit Ice Cream. The UDairy Creamery makes a variety of student developed, student made Ice Cream flavors from the milk of the cows on the UofD Farm. The ice cream is some of the best I've ever had, the price is reasonable, and all the profits go back into the agricultural programs at the University. The employees are all students or recent grads who are involved with the agricultural programs. Good Cause, Great Product, Good Prices, Where's the downside?

Their ice cream must be very delicious, but I’ve never tried it before since I’m allergic to dairy. They have dairy free treats, but I always taste a really strong amount of orange zest in it. I start to feel left out when I can’t really enjoy anything from there and all I can do is watch everyone else enjoy their ice cream. It’s not the best place to go if you’re looking for a dairy-free alternative dessert.
